Manna cake is not only a delicious breakfast, but also a wonderful dessert.

Sour cream – 1 glass

Groats manna – 1 glass

Flour – 1 glass

Soda – 1 tsp.

Butter – 100 g



  1. Eggs mix with sugar, beat for about 10 minutes until the air mass. Pour sour cream, mix. Pour manna and sifted with soda flour. Gently stir.
  2. Pour the melted and pre-cooled butter (so that the eggs do not curdle), mix and leave for 10 minutes: this time is enough for manna to swell a little.
  3. Lubricate the form with butter, pour the dough into it and place in a preheated oven to 200 ° C. Bake for about 30 minutes, until crispy.
  4. Cut into pieces and serve, sprinkled with powdered sugar or sprinkled with berry sauce.


Advice. In order to manna cake turned out to be higher, bake it in the form of a smaller diameter (for example, 18 cm).
